How should I care for wooden products?

Edit: After posting my review below, the seller did reach out and I truly appreciate that they took the time and attention to understand my concerns. While I maintain my 3/5 star review for the product, I say their customer service is 5/5 stars. They mentioned they will be attempting to implement changes to their product in the future (namely including an instruction sheet and a device that will help remove the stickers without scratching the metal stand) and I think that will really improve the experience of future buyers.

If you can get past the pure frustration of setting the stand up, it's not the worst.
It's aesthetically pleasing, but what drove me insane is:
1) no instruction manual or even a small sheet telling you how to loosen the stand once you take it out of the box. I had to come back to this page and watch the video to figure it out.
2) you have to use a sharp object (I used a steak knife) to pop off the stickers that cover the joints (which will scratch the metal) and then use the (supplied) wrench and Allen key to untighten each of the four joints. Because they'll be loose, you can't actually put your laptop on it and adjust it with the weight - you'll have to essentially estimate how you want the stand to go and then tighten the joints and then put your laptop on and see if it's what you want (basically a lot of trial & error).
3) once you have your stand set up, there is no easy way to change it. You want to move it down half an inch for something? You're gonna have to remove your laptop, use the knife/sharp object to pop the stickers off again, have your wrench and Allen key ready to loosen the joints, reposition it how you want, tighten the joints then replace the stickers.... It just seems like such an awful design.
The actual stand is sturdy enough (the wooden base is the tiniest bit uneven, but not to the degree where it bothers me too much) and it is beautiful, but it just seems extremely unpractical.
The laptop in my picture is 16" and fairly heavy (~ 3.5lbs), so anyone with a smaller & lighter computer will be fine.
I'll likely be keeping it, mainly because I wanted something with a wooden base, but we'll see... I'll have to work with it for awhile to decide if the aesthetic is worth the hassle. I can already tell you it is not worth the price (I paid $53 CAD).

The best lip top stand I’ve found so far! I love that this laptop stand is weighted, I was skeptical when ordering but I am so impressed by this stand! It is so easy to adjust, holds firmly in place, is very sturdy and stable, it has silicon grips and side protectors so your computer doesn’t touch the metal (won’t scratch) the wood is so sleek and elegant looking! It’s very functional when you need to adjust your computer height and helps reduce strain on your back and wrists! Overall things a great value for the price!
I really enjoy using this laptop holder—it’s made working from my recliner much easier. Before, I had to balance my laptop on the arm of the chair with the mouse on a side table, all while my 16-year-old cat, Pepper, curled up in my lap. Now, the setup is far more comfortable: the laptop is secure, the keyboard and mouse are easily accessible, and I don’t have to shift around as much—Pepper definitely appreciates that too.
The quality is solid, especially the wooden surface, which feels sturdy and well-made. I like the slight dip in the platform that helps keep things in place. The seller also includes a tightening tool in case the legs need reinforcement, which is a thoughtful touch.
I’ve looked at similar products, and the price for this one is very reasonable. There are other models with swivel features or metal surfaces, but I’m happy with the durability and design of this one.

Actually quite decently built, but maybe just for holding laptops up, not for typing. If I type on this stand, my laptop is unfortunately shaking a bit. But the product itself is nice.

インテリア面では安っぽさもないため合わせやすいと思われます。
アーム部分は折り畳む想定はしていないかなというくらいに固いです。
緩めにしてしまうとノートパソコンの重量に負けて垂れてきてしまうので、位置を決めたら二度と動かさないくらいの気持ちでしっかりめに締めた方がいいです。
小物置き場の部分にマウス等を置いておけるのが嬉しいですね。
