Finally found the one I really like.
Sent back 2 previous cheaper boxes from other stores. Others were garbage.
This is a solid wooden box , nicely brushed , nice to touch.
The quality of the box itself is pretty good. The sizes of each compartment aren't all the same though with the rightmost one being slightly wider than the previous ones. One other small issue is that the pillows for the watches don't hold tight so your watch will rattle around in there.

This case will even make your discount store watch look like a $1,000 watch. A nice watch will appear as the crown jewels. It comes with a glass cleaning cloth, too. Your all set for breaking out all those watches you own, but never get a chance to wear and make use of.
Even though you know it's just in your closet and only you will see it, you will be washed over with pride and satisfaction that your accomplishments are waiting for you every time you return to wardrobe.
The walnut has a great non-lacquered finish you can feel. Each watch gets it's own pillow. There's plenty of room for big faced men's watches - even diving watches. Each section has plenty of real estate. Even the shiny golden colored latch screams, look at this good stuff over here.
Bought the Muso Wood 5-watch case with grey velvet lining and transparent window. It is a nicely crafted looking box made of walnut wood with a golden latch and seamless (hidden) hinges. A perfect finish with no blemish. The Inner lining is made of grey velvet material that gives value and contrast to displayed watches. I am very happy with the purchase. But, if I may make a suggestion to the craftsmen, I think, the pillows around which the watches are wrapped should be a little bit bigger and flexible to allow a tight fit to firmly anchor the watches when displayed flat or tilted. My exact rating now is a 4.5 stars. I'll give it 5 stars plus if it is tweaked the way I indicated.

I picked this up to organize a small watch collection, and it immediately feels like an upgrade over cheaper cases. The walnut finish looks warm and natural, and the glass lid does a great job showcasing the watches while keeping dust out. It looks right at home on a dresser or shelf without feeling flashy.
The interior is well laid out for everyday watches. The velvet lining feels soft and protective, and the removable pillows make it easy to take watches in and out without fumbling. It comfortably fits larger watch faces without pressing against the glass, which was something I was worried about before ordering.
The only minor drawback is that the pillows run slightly small, so slimmer watches can shift a bit if the box is moved around. For stationary use, though, it hasn’t been an issue. Overall, this feels well-made, thoughtfully designed, and gift-worthy. If you want a clean, elegant way to store and display a handful of watches, this box delivers.

Pros: Looks elegant. Well designed. Latch is useful to stop the lid opening when transporting. Solid wood is great to have. Also useful for other uses, e.g. storing watch straps and other accessories.
Cons: Pillows inside could be wider to stop watches from moving laterally.
Finally, an actual whopped box - no fake plastic this time. Well done, full marks!

Beautiful quality case for the price. Only negative is the size of the pillows. Ill swap those out for slightly larger ones but it's very well made. Walnut finish is beautiful.

I purchased this to put my brothers watches on display. He passed away on his birthday June 10 of this year. The box is beautiful would and this closure is good quality. The velvet inside is also good quality. The only issue I have is I wish the inserts that the watches go around were a little tighter fitting in the box. Other than that, I highly recommend.
