This is a low profile bookend. I got it for on top of a bookshelf and it gives just that little extra to make storage decorative. Good quality! Works well. They are a bit smaller than I expected though.
The quality is good but they are ridiculously small. I wanted to use them for specific books but they are better suited to paperbacks.

These are the best little bookends. They seem too lightweight to actually work when you open the box. But they are grippy and stable enough to hold up a copy of the Chicago Manual of Style. (Iykyk). I love that these are sleek, blend in, and don’t take up a lot of room on a shelf.

These bookends look nice and the wood finish is attractive, but they didn’t hold up as well as expected for heavier books. They are labeled as heavy duty, but when used with larger or heavier books, they tend to slide or not provide enough support.
They work better for lighter books, notebooks, or smaller items where less pressure is placed on the ends. The design itself is simple and looks nice on a shelf, but performance depends on what you’re using them for.
Overall, they are okay for light use, but may not be the best choice if you need something to hold up heavier textbooks or large hardcovers.
The bookends are fine, just thought they would be a bit bigger, clearly my fault not checking the spec

These bookends look very smart and seem to be quite sturdy. They are not for large books however but perfect for smaller books

These look as described, work well, and add a nice touch to the shelf in our office, which now has been turned into part bookshelf.
If you are holding up a select few records, these work great. However due to their overall size, you might want to look elsewhere for balancing large collections.

Lightweight, these look and feel cheap. They'll do the job, though, but I wouldn't trust them with anything more larger than some paperbacks.

They are very good bookends and keep my large books from falling over. They also look nice.
The wood is gorgeous! They seem to be well-made. I purchased these bookends to hold up 2" binders which were full of photographs in sleeve protectors. The size of the bookends and the movement possible within the binders caused the binders to tip over when removing a binder from the middle. The bookends aren't heavy enough to prevent the binders from tipping over so it didn't work well for my application. For standard books smaller than binders, I'm sure they would work very well. They look GREAT!

The wood color is rich, matches my table and holds my Bible along with seven other books . Good value!!
Shipped quickly and I was surprised at how heavy they are. I have a number of books between them and these are able to handle the load easily.
They look good but a little light in weight. I don't think they will hold the larger size books all that good.
